Director Product Development US. He received his PhD at the Department of Pharmacognosy and Analytical Phytochemistry, University of Saarland, Germany.  His career spans three decades in various research and management positions in the field of natural products analytics, biosynthesis, bioanalysis of drugs and biomarkers in academia and industry at the University of Saarland, the Institute of Biological Chemistry at Washington State University and Cedra Corporation and at Metabolon Inc. and Precion Inc. where he led the analytical development of metabolomics based clinical tests.
